Monday, April 13th, 2009
11:30am-1pm at the Kessler Campanile
Green Rally at the Campanile - Kick-off Think Green Week with free organic popcorn, reusable shopping bags, reusable water bottles, a geodiesic dome and more + solar-powered speeches from some of the foremost leaders for sustainability at Georgia Tech, including Dr. and Mrs. Peterson!
Construction and transporation of the Geodesic Dome!

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009
11am-12:30pm at the Kessler Campanile
2nd Annual Sustainable Fashion Show - featuring clothing and accessories made of hemp, soy, organic cotton, recycled materials, secondhand items and other sustainable fabrics. This event will include designs by Georgia Tech students as well as several local designers and stores.

7-9pm at Regal Cinemas Atlantic Station
"Earth" - Georgia Tech will be giving out a limited number of FREE tickets to the debut screening of the Newest Film by Disneynature. Please visit Think Green Week's eMarketplace to reserve yours today! Participants arriving from campus are encouraged to minimize driving by taking a free Stinger shuttle to and from the event. From 5-6:30 p.m, the Stinger shuttle will pick up passengers at the Student Center Stinger Stop and drop them off at Regal Cinema. The last Stinger leaves from the Student Center at 6:30 p.m. After the film, from 9 to 9:45 p.m, the shuttle will be available at Regal Cinema to take passengers back to the Student Center. The last shuttle leaves from Regal Cinema at 9:45 p.m.

Environmental Justice Panel - panelists Nia Robinson, Dr. Barbara Lynch, Tony C. Anderson and Rick La Torra will make 10 minute presentations about environmental injustice on local and global scales, followed by a group discussion about ways in which we can address these issues as a community. Free food provided by GT Dining!
5-11pm on Skiles Walkway
Solar-Powered Battle of the Bands - hosted by Emerging Leaders in association with Think Green Week, Earth Day and Tree Power and Sound. Come see seven (7) of the most promising student bands at Georgia Tech in a head-to-head battle for the title of Best Band on Campus!
7:30-9pm in the Student Center Theater
"FLOW: for the love of water" - EAGT hosts a FREE screening of this AWESOME documentary so generously loaned to us by Dr. Jeannette Yen. Come out for a great film about the world water crisis and the implications of water privatization, enjoy free organic popcorn and door prizes!
Friday, April 17th, 2009 - Georgia Tech Earth Day Celebration!
10am-2pm on Skiles Walkway
Clothing Swap - bring your gently used clothing and accessories to trade for some new threads... or just donate your unwanted items to a good cause (all leftover clothing will benefit local non-profit organizations)!
Alternative Fuels and Vehicles - come see a bio-diesel powered truck, electric vehicles, ZipCar, EcoCAR and more!
